CHIP WADE, HGTVs "Designed to Sell"
Saturday & Sunday
Atlanta native Chip Wade comes from a line of experienced carpenters and woodcraftsmen. His interests in home renovation and carpentry began from an early age working closely with his father on projects around the house. This interest developed into a passion as Chip became proficient in both the design and execution of large-scale remodels. Chip graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering and became certified in residential construction while working as a structural engineer in a home building firm.
In the fall of 2007, Chip joined HGTV's Designed to Sell team as the carpenter on the Atlanta show. Chip's expertise and craftsmanship helps the show exceed all expectations of what can be accomplished in a 3-day makeover!
Designed to Sell shows how to turn a tired house into a showpiece by giving sellers a budget and a team of experts to transform their house into the hottest property on the block. Due to the show's enormous success, production has expanded into a 4th market - Atlanta.

SPECIAL GUESTS
Meet WKYC's Betsy Kling on Saturday, March 1 from
12:30-2:00 in the Upper Level Feature Gardens!
Channel 3 Weekend Meteorologist
NE Ohio native Betsy Kling joined Channel 3's Weekend News as Meteorologist in March 2003.
Born and raised in Copley, Betsy is a 1993 graduate of Copley High School (Go Indians!). She then went on to Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1997 with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Meteorology (Go Falcons!). Betsy completed her remaining Meteorology courses through Mississippi State University.
Living in the Midwest, Betsy grew up with an appreciation of weather, and a true fear of thunderstorms and tornadoes. She never really thought of weather as a career until college, when a "dorm-mate" tricked her into taking a Meteorology course as a lab science. Although it was the hardest class she has ever taken (after her "dorm-mate" promised her it was easy), it fascinated her like nothing else ever had.
Betsy is very active in the community and often speaks at schools and civic organization meetings. She gives her time to several charities in the area including the Hattie Larlham Organization (for which she received the 2004 Media Award for Service), the American Cancer Society and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
